Hi there! We are really friendly people. My husband works full time from Monday to Friday, and I am a stay at home Mum. We like being outdoors, when the weather is good, being active and spending time with friends. We own our home, and are keen to rent either one or both of the spare rooms.
We would welcome people from NZ or other countries, either here for a long time or a short time.
If you are from another country- we both speak English and are able to help you around the city and with your stay in New Zealand as necessary. We can also assist with airport pick up/drop off.
There is a bus stop less than 100 metres away and town is very close - an easy walk (only 2km to the central city)
The house in total has 3 large bedrooms and 1 main bathroom and a second toilet. The bedrooms are REALLY warm and have lots of storage.
The house is warm- it is sunny, has new carpet, a pellet fire and an HRV system (this keeps the house very warm). It is clean and tidy, and tastefully decorated.
Our dining room opens out onto a sunny deck, and a large garden with fruit trees, berries and a vegetable garden. We also have a cat who is very friendly and well behaved (she lives outside).
Our street is awesome- it's near the river in a very scenic beautiful area, with great neighbours. We also have an alarm.
Very central- just a 20 minute walk to the central city (2km away).
There are 2 rooms available. Rent is negotiable depending on amount of people in the room and length of stay
No smokers please.
The house is fully furnished.
In the area: Richmond shops (grocers, butcher, supermarket, bakery, 2nd hand shops etc.), river, parks, city, pretty much everything! Also the beach is a 10 minute drive away.
There is off street parking up the drive. There is a garage but it's full of stuff!
