We, Dayle & Birgit, are currently in the process of purchasing a property in Cargill Street (Dunedin, City Centre) for the purpose of renting to international/mature students.
We have had international students from Canada, Germany & Australia staying with us in 2011 in our current property in Brighton (~20min drive south of Dunedin); however, we will hopefully be moving to Cargill Street shortly.
We anticipate to rent rooms at a cost of NZ$140-210/week, depending on the size of the room. There are 6 rooms available. The price includes wireless broadband interenet, heating, electricity, shared cooking, bathroom & laundry facilities. The rooms will be furnished (bed, linen, towels, desk & chair, wardrobe). The shared facilities will be cleaned & serviced.
We will also be living on site, but separate from the main building.
I, Dayle (37yrs), am a local and Birgit (34yrs) is from Austria. We have both lived in Europe and also travelled through Europe, South America & Australasia and love meeting people from other parts of the world! Hence, our drive to create a place where people from different backgrounds can live, study, and 'hang out' together.
