About the flat ~


Excellent condition deco flat on Oriental Parade, with the beach over the road and views of the harbour to the city nearby. Fully furnished, plenty of space and a nice homey home, the flat includes fully equipped kitchen. Light, bright and airy with high ceilings and great sunshine. Warm in winter, and cool & airy with the sea breeze in summer.


Relaxed, tidy easy going flat. I enjoy music, nice food & wine, good movies, the odd gathering and friends coming and going. It'd suit a working or studying professional, who's either Wellington-based full time or during the week.


Location ~


No need for the car during the week if you work central as the city just 10-20 mins walk on the harbour's edge. The bus stop is also 1m from the front door. A great handful of local cafés nearby, and the supermarket is just 5 minutes too. Local markets on Sunday's are also good for fresh economical produce.



About the room ~


The room is very large, with seaside views, queen bed, built in closet, shelves a bedside table, and set of drawers. The rooms have heavy, thick curtains too for good sleeping. More photos and details available on request.


Bills & other perks ~


> Kitchen has an espresso machine, saving coffee drinkers $20-30pw.

> If you're interested, an off street car park can be added for $20pw (neg).

> Electricity ranges from $50pm in summer to (max) $100 with higher usage over the winter months (June - Sep-ish). Plus we have good heaters.

> Wifi is $45ea pm (unlimited), sometimes less if we split with upstairs.

> Generally pretty easy going to split other bits & pieces for the flat.

> Minimal weekly transport costs if you work central, as the city is walkable.

Just to note the ad says 2x bathrooms - that's a separate toilet to the main bathroom. Dryer & new washing machine are great.


It's 3-bedroom, so one spare for family and friends. Being deco it's also a structurally solid building. I feel very safe here and it's only two floors. It's very stable in the wind - we nick-name it the bunker!
